We do work from a rate sheet so that everyone gets a fair rate, however, please keep in mind that each job is different and may need additional considerations such as working driver / drivers mate/ working out of hours etc. The best thing is to please contact us for a quotation as we would need to ascertain the nature of the job in order to give you an accurate price, the final cost would also depend on such issues as dimensions and weights, access, collection and delivery location etc.
Contact us as soon as you have a request. Telephoning our Transport Office will allow us to ask you all the relevant details and give you an instant quote. Our specialist team can deal with any enquiry small or large.
It is always a good idea to give us as much information as you can. Ideally we need to know:
Collection location, Delivery location, what the goods are, together with any loading requirements e.g. Hiab or Tail Lift or Fork Lift. One of the most important things is to know what the dimensions are and the weight of the goods. This allows us to decide which vehicle is best for your load and that will then determine the cost of the job.
We also need to be mindful of access restrictions. Please see our dimensions and capabilities page for more information.
No, we do not add a fuel charge.
All goods are carried under the RHA Conditions of Carriage which you can find on our Terms and Conditions
We have several options of payment. To become an account customer we prefer you to have traded with us a few times before setting up an account for your company. The payment options we offer prior to that are:
- Payment by BACS prior to the job being completed
- Payment by CHAPS prior to the job being completed
- Payment by Business Bank Card – there is a £25 charge for this facility
- Payment by cheque to the driver if the collection of goods is to be from your business address.
